How to capture pokémon easily in Pokémon Legends Arceus: Tips and tricks to get them all

Here are some tips and tricks to help you catch Pokémon more easily in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. We go over the best techniques for the two existing forms in the game.

In Pokémon Legends Arceus, “get them all” is even more important than in other installments of the saga. In this game, we will not have to catch a single pokémon to complete its entry into the pokédex, but we will need several copies.

For this reason, capturing has become essential in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and, as in any good game, we can resort to various techniques that will make our task much easier in the Hisui landscapes.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus we can capture pokémon in two ways: without going into combat and facing these creatures in a more traditional fight.

Therefore, in this guide, we give you some tips and tricks for both ways, since the two options will be presented to you throughout the game.

Tips for catching pokemon without fighting

If you’re looking to catch Pokémon without facing them, you’ll need to be on your toes, have a list of items, and take a few key steps. The best thing you can do is equip yourself with a few Stealth Sprays and wait until the Pokémon are a bit clueless.

Use lures or berries to make them look away, and make sure to throw the best Pokéball you have at them to guarantee the catch. If you are hit with the Pokéball on the sword you will have more options to get the pokémon.

On the other hand, you can also use Mud Balls to stun them and also make it easier to catch them in the open field.

Tips for catching pokemon in battle

This section is the most similar to other installments of the saga and the same techniques can be applied here. The less HP the Pokémon has, the easier it will be to catch it, and if it is asleep, the better.

Therefore, the trick is to find a Pokémon on our team that works very well to capture others. One of the best candidates is Gallade, which can learn Hypnosis and False Swipe (a move that always leaves 1 HP to the opposing Pokémon). Good luck capturing everyone!

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
