Lost Ark: Free Founder Packs on Twitch, this is how you get them

The long-awaited MMORPG Lost Ark will finally be released next week, more precisely on February 8th, 2022. However, only if you also have a Founder’s Pack – because this grants you, not only in-game currency but also a three-day early start.

However, there should also be a way to get one of these Founder’s Packs for free via the Twitch streaming platform. How this works exactly, we explain to you in this article.

Free Lost Arks Founder’s Packs on Twitch – that’s what’s behind it

On the evening of January 31, 2022, Amazon shared a new trailer for its Twitch channel Crown: This channel runs web shows specially produced by Twitch and Amazon, in which everything from February 7 to 11, 2022 is about Lost Ark will turn. The shows start at 2:00 a.m. in our time zone.

How to get a free Founder Pack?

The trailer mentions at 0:20 minutes that Channel Points will get you Founder’s Packs.

What are channel points? You can get the Channel Points if you are logged into your Twitch account and simply follow and watch the relevant channel. With other streamers, you can use these points to highlight your chat messages or unlock subscriber emotes.

Which Founder’s Pack will there be? How many channel points do you need?

It is currently not known whether there will be one or more of the previously known Founder’s Packs or whether a Founder’s Pack specially adapted for this event will be offered. In the trailer, however, the four previously known founder packages bronze, silver, gold, and platinum can be seen.

It is also not yet possible to say how many points are required.

Our guess: The different packs will possibly be redeemable for a fixed number of channel points. In this case, however, for higher value packs you would almost certainly need more channel points than you can get by just watching.

How to get channel points fast?

If a channel has Channel Points enabled, a flashing treasure chest icon will occasionally appear below the chat input window. If you click on this, you will get additional channel points – this is intended to reward active watching of the stream.

However, there are also ways to collect these points automatically: If you use the Chrome or Firefox browser, there are dozens of extensions that save you from having to click regularly and automatically claim the additional points as soon as they are available again.

Sweepstakes & Quizzes: Twitch also offers streamers the opportunity to hold various types of quizzes, sweepstakes, and wagers where viewers can use their Channel Points. Since the trailer talks about the viewers testing their knowledge, there will probably be quizzes. Active and successful participation in these could be essential to collect the necessary amount of channel points for a free Founder’s Pack.
