How to Get Glide Armor Set in Tears of the Kingdom

There are several Armor sets in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that players can get by exploring the hidden areas on the surface as well as on the Sky Islands. Some of the Armor Sets will require you to complete certain challenges and one of those Armor Sets is the Glide Armor Set. The Glide Armor Set is super-efficient as it gives you more mobility in the air while gliding. Not only that, it also removes the Fall Damage from Sky Diving Permanently so, you will never have to worry about opening your Paraglider while falling from the sky.

How to Get Glide Armor Set in Tears of the Kingdom

The Glide Armor Set consists of the following three Armor Pieces.

  • Glide Shirt
  • Glide Tights
  • Glide Mask

All three of these Armor Pieces require a similar challenge to be completed. You will have to complete the challenge of diving from the sky island and going through the hoops before the time limit. Each of the challenges has a time limit of 35 Seconds and you will have to complete the challenge before 35 seconds. By accepting a challenge, you will have to pay 1x Zonai Charge. Once you have completed all three challenges at the respective locations on the world map, you will claim all three Armor Pieces of the Glide Armor Set.

How to Get Glide Shirt Armor Piece in Tears of the Kingdom

The Glide Shirt Armor Piece can be obtained from Courage Island. It is a Sky Island located northwest of the Central Hyrule Sky. You can easily get to Courage Island by using Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower. After blasting off into the sky, you need to glide in the southwest direction and you will see the sky island of rings.

You need to do the test run by interacting with the green console and once you reach down to Courage Island, you will be able to talk to the Construct. Accept the challenge and you will get to do the run again but this time you have to complete it before 35 seconds. Once you have completed the challenge, the Construct will give you the Glide Shirt Armor Piece.

How to Get Glide Tights Armor Piece in Tears of the Kingdom

The Glide Tights Armor Piece can be obtained from Bravery Island. It is a Sky Island located in the North Hyrule Sky Archipelago and you can easily reach this sky island by using the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower. Once you have blasted off into the Sky, glide in the south direction and land on the island beneath the rings. Once there, you need to talk to the Construct and accept the challenge.

You will be teleported to the top of the rings where you will start the challenge. Complete the challenge under 35 seconds and when you have completed the challenge, the Construct will give you the Glide Tights.

How to get Glide Mask Armor Piece in Tears of the Kingdom

The Glide Mask Armor Piece can be obtained from Valor Island. It is a Sky Island located in the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago and you easily reach this sky island by using the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. Once you have blasted off into the sky, glide in the northeast direction to reach the island. You need to do the same thing here as well. Just talk to the Construct and accept the challenge to teleport to the top of the rings.

Now, jump down and go through the hoops to complete the challenge under 35 seconds. Once you have completed the challenge, the Construct will give you the Glide Mask Armor Piece.

How to get Glide Mask Armor Piece in Tears of the Kingdom

Once you have all three pieces of Glide Armor, your Glide Armor Set will be completed and you will be able to glide without any fear. By equipping all three Armor Pieces, it neglects all fall damage while gliding. You just need to press the R Button while in the air to glide and you won’t be needing your paraglider to land safely.
