Tears of the Kingdom: How to Activate Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower

The Skyview Towers are very important as they increase the experience of exploring an area of the map as well as they will help you discover new locations in the respective regions of the map. One of the Skyview Towers that players will get to activate while traversing toward the east side of the map is Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. It is one of the simplest Skyview Tower to activate however since it is on the top of the mountain, you will have to face a number of difficulties before you get there.

Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower Location in Tears of the Kingdom

The Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower is located on top of the Mountain on the east side of the map. If you go directly toward the east of the Hyrule Fields area, you will see the Skyview Tower on the Mountain in the distance. You can use the Scope of the Purah Pad to see its exact location on the map.

On your way up to the mountain, you will have to face the cold weather for which you can use the Cold Resistance Armor or Cold Resistance Food. You will not be able to survive without the Cold Resistance so, make sure that you go prepared on the mountain.

How to Activate Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom

Before you go towards the mountain, make sure to cook 5x Spicy Peppers that will give you Cold Resistance for up to 12:30 Minutes. It would be enough if you have increased your stamina. You can cook 2 of these recipes if your stamina is low because it will take more time to get you on top because of the snow. You need to follow up the path on the mountain to easily go up but it will take you several minutes. You can also climb the mountain but it will require more stamina than the default stamina.

Once you have made your way up to the mountain, you will be able to activate the Skyview Tower without any puzzles.

• Open the Gate of the Tower.
• Examine the Console.
• Examine the center of the tower to blast off into the sky.
• After scanning the area, use the Glider to get back to the surface safely.

Activating Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower will reveal a couple of surface areas and Sky Islands that you will be able to visit.
