GameStop Employees Resign, Leaving Customers Without Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s world is filled with horrors and difficult enemies for which you have to call upon some help. In Tears of the Kingdom, you can summon other legends for the help and take out the threat by fighting together. As players progress in the main story, you will be finding the legends and end up making them your companions. You can call upon them anytime and anywhere while traversing through the Hyrule World.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Summon & Dismiss Companions in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Summon & Dismiss Companions in Tears of the Kingdom

Every time players will complete a main dungeon and defeat a boss at the end of the trial with the legend, they will unlock a summon of that legend. There are five companions in total that players will unlock as they complete the main story quests of the game.

  • Tulin – (Sage of Wind)
  • Sidon – (Sage of Water)
  • Yunobo – (Sage of Fire)
  • Riju – (Sage of Lightning)
  • Mineru – (Sage of Spirit)

Each companion you unlock will grant you a stone that can be found under the Key Items Tab in the menu. You will be able to Summon & Dismiss the companion by using these stones. Once you have unlocked a companion, open the inventory by pressing the + Button and switching to Key Items Tab. The Stones are Vows and you will have a stone for every companion you unlock.

In order to Summon or Dismiss, you need to select the Vow of companion you want to Summon or Dismiss and you will get the option of either Summon or Dismiss, depending upon they are currently active or not.

You can summon all of the companions at the same time and they will keep following you along your journey until you dismiss them. You can continuously use their abilities by gong close to them and pressing the A Button so it is your choice whether you want them to follow you around everywhere or summon them when needed.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
