Layers of Fear: How to Unlock the Safe

As players progress in the Painter’s Story by finding the supplies in the mansion to finish the painting, they will run into a room with a safe on the wall The walls of the room will have a message saying “Shattered Thoughts”. The room will be upside down and in order to open the other door in the room, players would have to get the key which happens to be inside the safe. So, in order to progress through the story, players would have to open the safe.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock the safe in Layers of Fear.

How to Unlock the Safe in Layers of Fear

By reaching the upside-down room, the safe will be on the wall in front and it will require a combination code to open it. In order to get the combination code, follow the following steps:

• Go to the main door from where you entered the room and there will be a Light Switch on the side of the door.
• Interact with the Light Switch for ONCE and turn around. The whole room will be fixed.
• Go to the table in the middle and pick up the combination code from the table.
• Now, go back to the light switch and interact with it once to convert the room back to upside-down.

Once you have the combination code, go to the safe and interact with it. The combination of the code would be 10 Right, 70 Left, and 90 Right. The combination code would also be placed under the dial so it would be easier for you to look at the code and rotate the dial to open the safe.

The safe will have a key in it for the door so, pick it up and change back the room once again to open the door on the left side of the room to progress ahead in the story.
