Lost Ark: How to play with the Xbox and PlayStation controller

When playing Lost Ark, the successful Amazon Games game that is breaking all kinds of records, especially with its number of simultaneous players, it is normal to use a keyboard and a mouse to fight and travel through the world of Arkesia. However, some may prefer to enjoy this MMORPG using a controller.

Well, you’ll be happy to know that the title is compatible with Xbox and PlayStation controllers, trying it with the latest Sony PS5  Edge Pro controller will be even more fun. So in the following guide, we’re going to give you a cable to use any of them.

How to play with the Xbox and PlayStation controller

The way to activate the controller is very simple and actually connecting any Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, or PS5 that you have to your PC should be enough. In principle, the game will detect them as soon as you start the game, but this case may not occur.

If so, you will have to open the Lost Ark game menu and in the configuration, you will see a section to select the control knob. Once there you just have to click on the corresponding option to use it and that should be enough.

Even so, there is a second way to play with a controller, although in this case, you will have to go to the Steam parameters. In the menu on the left, you will see a section called ” Control ” and within it the option ” General control settings “. Once inside, all you have to do is select the boxes corresponding to the command you have connected.

From that moment you can play with a controller or with a keyboard and mouse, whichever is more comfortable for you. Of course, it should be noted that the interface is designed for the use of the Xbox controller, so you will see letters in the skills instead of the PlayStation symbols.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
