No Rest for the Wicked: How to Fast Travel

No Rest for the Wicked: How to Fast Travel

The Kingdom of Isola Sacra consists of several areas players will explore in No Rest for the Wicked. Either pursuing the main storyline quests or exploring the areas for resources and items, tracking your way back can always be hectic and time-consuming. However, the game does offer a fast travel mechanic for players to use to travel from one whisper to the other quickly.

This guide will provide you with information on how to fast travel in No Rest for the Wicked.

How to Fast Travel in No Rest for the Wicked

The Fast Travel can be done by channeling the Cerim Whisper, the shining blue stretching lines that you will see at least once in every area that you will visit in the game. These are basically the bonfire in No Rest for the Wicked but they are only for saving your progress. Channeling the Whispers does not restore your HP, recover your food items, or even respawn the enemies that you have defeated.

Furthermore, the fast travel system in No Rest for the Wicked is a bit different than the usual fast travel systems in other RPGs. In No Rest for the Wicked, you can only fast-travel to the last visited Whisper and back to the main Whisper located in Sacrament. So basically, you are going from Point A to Point B and then coming back to Point A.

You cannot select the activated Whispers from the map to simply travel there which makes it a bit weird. To fast-travel in No Rest for the Wicked, follow these simple steps.

  • Go to a Cerim Whisper and interact with it.
  • Select the Fast Travel option.
  • Select the Last Whisper (available if you are in Sacrament) or Sacrament (available if you are in any other area) option.

Selecting the respective traveling location will teleport you to that location after a brief loading.

How to Unlock Fast Travel in No Rest for the Wicked

However, the fast travel feature will not be available for at least the first three areas of the game. To unlock Fast Travel, you must reach the main city called Sacrament. It is the very first main quest of the game which will require you to make your way through The Shallows, Mariner’s Keep, and Orban Glades areas.

While making your way through the Orban Glades, you will also face the first main boss, Warrick the Torn. Upon defeating him, the gates to Sacrament will lower and the fast travel feature will unlock.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
