Smilegate published an official press release today and also announced how many Founder’s Packs have already been sold. Everything important is summarized here:
- The 4 Lost Ark Founder’s Packs have sold a total of over 1.5 million copies and are number 1 on the worldwide Steam sales charts. Before the start of the headstart, there were already 1 million copies.
- On the first day of Headstart, Lost Ark reached 530,000 concurrent players, making it the most played game on Steam.
- On Twitch, 1.27 million viewers watched Lost Ark live streams at the same time.
Commenting on the achievement, Ji Wongil, CEO of Smilegate RPG, said, “I am so grateful and touched that the original intention of Lost Ark, which was the kick-off for development for all RPG fans worldwide, has been extended to so many adventurers around the world was mediated. Once again, I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the adventurers back home who have helped Lost Ark get this far. We will do our best to reciprocate the support given to us at launch and beyond, without settling on our past accomplishments.”
