Palworld: How to Get Grappling Gun

Palworld - Grappling Gun

Climbing high mountains or running for great distances can be tiring due to the consumption of stamina. Although the stamina can be increased by enhancing the stats of the character, players can also utilize the Grappling Gun to traverse quickly around the map without consuming a full bar of stamina.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get a Grappling Gun in Palworld.

How to Get Grappling Gun in Palworld

The Grappling Gun allows players to shoot a hook at possible distant targets to get pulled at the target without consuming stamina. Players can unlock and learn its recipe at reaching Level 12 of Technology. Forage resources, mine rocks and ores, catch Pals, and complete base missions to increase the level. Once you have reached level 12, open the Technology tab and learn the recipe for the Grappling Gun by using one Ancient Technology Point.

The Ancient Technology Points are earned by defeating a Pal Boss in the world or dungeon. Defeating every boss will grant one Ancient Technology Point for the first time. If you kill a boss that you have previously defeated or caught, it will not grant another point.

Upon learning the recipe, interact with the primitive workbench to find the recipe for Grappling Gun. Select the Grappling Gun recipe to craft it with the following resources.

The Ancient Civilization Parts are only obtained by killing/catching the Alpha Pals or so-called World Bosses that you defeat for Ancient Technology Points. Ingots are crafted at the Primitive Furnace using the Ores.

After crafting the Grappling Gun, equip it in one of the weapons slots to use it. Using the Grappling Gun frequently will lower its durability quickly requiring you to repair it once it is broken.
