Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: How to Fly/Glide

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is an open-world game and players do get to explore the vast world map of Paldea. As there are different regions on the map and players need to go to several places to complete the path objectives. Some places have some gaps in them that can be covered by going through the long route or making your mount fly. Players will be able to fly on the mount after they have got the Flying ability.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Fly/Glide in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Fly/Glide

As players start the game, they’ll have a Koraidon if they are playing the Scarlet version of the game or they will have Miraidon if they are playing the Violet version of the game. These are the mounts that players will use to travel in Paldea. At the start, they can only ride it and go to the places that require their attention but as they progress through the game, players will be able to unlock the flying ability which will be useful in traveling greater distances in a short period of time from heights. Flying ability can be used to cover great gaps as well and by jumping from the heights, players can glide on their mount to travel easily.

The Fly ability is only available if the players defeated the specific Titan in the game. The Titan that they need to defeat in the game to get the Flying ability is the Quaking Earth Titan who is the third Titan in the Path of Legends story. Players can find this Titan on the Western side of Paldea. Players can play through any order but if the players are playing from the lowest level to the highest, then it would be the third Titan they faced.

The Quaking Earth Titan is different in both versions of the game. If the players are playing the Scarlet Version, they will face the Titan Donphan, Great Tuck and if the players are playing the Violet Version, they will face the Titan Donphan, Iron Treads. Once players have defeated the Titan, their mounts will get the flying/gliding ability.

Players will be able to fly on their mount by jumping first. Players need to jump with the mount by pressing the B key and when they go in the air, they need to press the B key again to start flying/gliding in the air. It is very helpful to cover great distances without running on the ground.
