Sony will soon show new games for the PlayStation 5 at its own presentation

A resident of OREM, Utah, called the police after finding out that he was cheated by a reseller. the 38 — year-old man paid $ 878 for a Sony console for sale at eBay-almost twice the recommended retail price. However, he was sent a Packed concrete block in a PS5 box.

The police could not help the man, advising him to contact the support of the trading platform, where they should return the money. The local authority also warned all buyers who use eBay, urging them to be careful and not trust sellers who do not have reviews.

This is not the first time on eBay that scammers are trying to take advantage of the shortage of new-generation consoles. At the end of November, the site administration began to remove all lots where photos of the PlayStation 5 tried to sell at the price of the console itself or higher.

We advise all users to be vigilant and carefully read the descriptions of each item offered for sale. According to the rules of the store, the administration can not intervene if the product fully matches the description from the seller, and in most cases, the scammers indicated that they were selling a photo of the console, and not the device itself.

We condemn all unscrupulous sellers who try to mislead other users. We have already started removing all PS5 photos for sale from our marketplace, and we will take the necessary measures in relation to their sellers.

Earlier, some users of the British Amazon also complained that instead of the PlayStation 5, they were sent foreign objects that roughly correspond to the Packed console by weight. At the end of November, the store announced that it would still send the PS5 to replace most of the customers affected.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
