One of the missable items in Resident Evil 4 Remake is the legendary Red9 Handgun which was also in the original Resident Evil 4 game.

Red9 Handgun Location

Red9 Handgun can only be found during the Fourth Chapter of the game. The location of the Red9 Handgun is in the very middle of the lake. There will be a wrecked Ship in the middle of the lake and the Red9 Handgun can be found in the chest on the front of the Wrecked Ship.

Getting the Red9 Handgun

Once you have got access to the boat in the Fourth Chapter. Make your way to the Wrecked Ship in the middle of the Lake and dock at the ship. Go up on the ship and go to the front of the ship. You will find a chest. Interact with it to open the chest and you will get the Red9 Handgun from the Chest.

However, if you missed it in the Fourth Chapter of the game, you will not be able to get it again from this location for free. But you can still get it from the Merchant. The Merchant will sell you the Red9 Handgun for 9,800 Ptas in the Fifth Chapter near Town Hall. This price is a discounted price and if you still don’t buy it, the Merchant will sell you the Red9 for the full price of 14,000 Ptas in the later chapters.

Players can also get the Wooden Stock for the Red9 Handgun to control the recoil of the gun. The wooden stock for Red9 Handgun can only be traded with 9x Spinels. So, if you have completed any requests of the Merchant, make sure to trade them for the stock if you are using the Red9 Handgun.
