Tears of the Kingdom: How to Get the Sword of Hero

When it comes to gear items or weapons, there are a number of ancient weapons spread across the Hyrule World waiting to be found. One of the ancient weapons that Link can find in Tears of the Kingdom is the Sword of Hero. The sword of Hero was once handed in ancient times and to get the powers of the ancient warrior, Link must get the Sword of Hero in his own hands.

Sword of Hero Location in Tears of the Kingdom

Sword of Hero can be found by opening the chest in the Depths located directly under the Dalte Forest area. Dalte Forest is located in the Gerudo region which is in the Southwest of the Hyrule World. The closest depths entrance from the Dalte Forest is the Yiga Clan Hideout Chasm located near the Rotsumamu Shrine in the Gerudo Highlands area.

How to Get the Sword of Hero in Tears of the Kingdom

Once jumping down from the Chasm, activate the Lightroot to light up the area and head directly in the east direction. You will come across a number of enemies along the way so, it is up to you whether you want to fight them or not. Simply keep going in that direction until you reach an area filled with dried trees. In between the trees, there will be a large Tree Stump, and in the center of the tree stump, lies a chest that contains the Sword of Hero.

Sword of Hero has a default damage of 17 and it can be upgraded and modified by the Water Warrior.
