Terra Nil – How to Unlock More Tools

There are various tools in Terra Nil that players will unlock as they play the game but at the beginning of the map, they will only start with a couple of tools. Tools are everything in this game because, without the proper tools, you will not be able to completely restore the map.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to unlock more tools in Terra Nil.

Unlocking More Tools

At the start of every map, you will have two tools, Turbine and Toxin Scrubber. As you place the Turbines and clean the soil with Toxin Scrubber, you will unlock a new tool named “Irrigator”. It will allow you to grow grass and after that, you will have to make the general progression of growing the grass on the map to unlock new tools. You will see your progress on the map at the top left of your screen.

As you progress in growing greenery, you will see a number of leaves in your inventory. This indicates the unlocking of the new tool and it will require the number of leaves showing in your inventory. When you earn the required leaves by growing grass, it will unveil a new tool that you will be able to use on the map.

You will have to follow the same procedure on each map to unlock the new tools and as you complete the tasks, you will also unlock tier 2 and tier 3 tools which can be viewed by pressing the 2 and 3 button on the keyboard. It will change your building’s tier type and it will usually unlock when you reach the biomes section on the map.
