"Police should not appear right behind you": details of patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077

Mods begin to arrive in Cyberpunk 2077 to offer a good dose of alternative content within the great world that is Night City. One mod has attracted a lot of attention from fans of genuine FPS.

Cyberpunk 2077 is gradually gaining more body after a few patches and community mods are already making their way onto the PC. Several have already generated interest among players and one of them has aroused a lot of curiosity.

If you want to give Night City a retro-futuristic look, as if it were a game from the eighties, Doom ReShade for Cyberpunk 2077 is what you are looking for. This modification manages to make what was going to be the launch of the year, resemble one of the most famous first-person shooters in history.

With this shading mod, you can get to enjoy a look very similar to the classic shooter that changed the genre forever. It should be noted that the aspect ratio is not changed, that is, the current view that Cyberpunk 2077 brings is still maintained and not that of Doom.

It can be downloaded from the Nexus Mods website, although you will first have to download ReShade from its official website. Once you have it, download the mod and copy the contents of the file to your Cyberpunk 2077 \ x64 folders.

Let’s make the joke so that everyone is satisfied. No, although it might seem like one more bug, this effect is not an error from CD Projekt Red itself, but a mod that manages to imitate, quite neatly, the graphics enjoyed by the original Doom.

In case you have any doubts, check out our report on what Nexus Mods is and how the largest mod platform for PC works. Regarding the main game, CD Projekt has stated that it will defend itself “strongly” against the lawsuit for Cyberpunk 2077 from investors.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
