The Outlast Trials: Program 3 – Orphanage: Cleanse the Orphans (Trial) Walkthrough

In this guide, we’ll be covering the 3rd Trial in The Outlast Trials.

Program 3 – Orphanage: Cleanse the Orphans – Walkthrough

Once you have accepted the trial at the terminal, go into the shutter to reach the Orphanage Trial area.

Enter the Orphanage

You will start from outside the orphanage area and you just have to go up the stairs and go through the main door to enter the orphanage.

Reach the Radio Room

Go ahead in the lobby and go up the staircase on the left side of the reception. Open the first door in front to enter the Radio Room.

Broadcast the Religious Station

You need to interact with the broadcaster on the wall to broadcast the religious station. You will have to set the Amplitude, Frequency, and Phase according to the Red Wave on the screen. You need to match the Green Wave with the Red Wave.

Tune Radio Receivers in the Dorms

After broadcasting the Religious Station, you need to go to the dorms which is on the right side of the Radio Room. Enter the dorms and go inside the Infant Dorms and you will find the same receivers. However, the rooms will be dark so, you will have to use the night vision to match the frequency on the receivers and you also have to look out for the enemies hunting in dorms.

Return to the Reception Desk Call for Morning Classes

You need to get out of the dorms area and go down the staircase to reach the reception. Press the red button on the reception to complete this task.

Swap Film Reels in Classrooms

You need to go to the classrooms area on the right side of the reception and enter the storage area to find the Film Reel. Use the Shutter Windows to get the Film Reel out of the storage and then place the Film Reels on the projectors in the classrooms.

After swapping the film reels, you need to return to the reception and call the prayers at chapel.

Stop the Blasphemers in the Chapel

The chapel is on the left of the reception and you need to follow the path until you reach the door that leads to chapel area. Once there at the chapel, you need to stop the jukebox.

Power Up Generators

You need to go to the Basement of the chapel to power up the generator. When you reach the basement, there will be a fuel can on your left side. Pick up the fuel can and go ahead in the basement to find the generator. Put the fuel in the generator and then use two consoles, one on each side of the generator until the switches turn green. Now interact with the generator and pull the crank at the right time to power up the generator.

Find Saw Handles’ Keys

You need to find two keys to unlock Saw Handles. You can find both of the clues of the keys on the tv screens. After that, you need to find the corpse with the respective clue and then search the corpse to get the keys.

Serve the Body of Christ. Chop His Legs Off

You need to interact with the Saw Handles and use them to cut his legs off.

Regroup in the Chapel and Start the Communion

You need to get back to the chapel with your teammates and then go to the other side of the chapel and press the button to start the communion.

Exit the Trial

After you have watched the communion, you need to get back to the shuttle to exit the area. Survive the enemies and wait until the shutter arrives and then enter the shutter to exit the trial.
