The Outlast Trials: Program 1 – Police Station: Kill the Snitch (Trial) Walkthrough

In this guide, we’ll be covering the 1st assignment of Program 1: Police Station in The Outlast Trials.

Program 1 – Police Station: Kill the Snitch (Trial) – Walkthrough

Once you have accepted the trial at the terminal, step into the shutter to get to the Police Station Trial area.

Infiltrate the Police Station

Once you are on the street in front of the police station, go ahead on the path and stick to the right side. There will be an open area on the right side of the Police Station building. Enter the area and you land in an alleyway. Jump through the window on the left side to get inside the police station.

Reach the Security Room

Once inside the police station, you need to go through the hallway on the right side. Use the Night Vision to reach the Cafeteria Area and right in front of the cafeteria, you will find the Security Room. You need to go to the Shutter to get to the Security Room and then press the Red Button in the room.

Get to the Snitch

Now, use the shutter again to go to the other side and there will be an open door on the left side. Go through the door to reach the prison cell area and go inside the first cell on the left side. Now, push the chair of the snitch until the lights shut down.

Start the Generators in the Basement

Leave the chair of the Snitch and walk ahead in the prison cell area. Open the door ahead and go along the path until you reach the Underground Parking area. Interact with the Parking Door and lift it to open it. Now, go under the door and use your Night Vision to see in the dark. You will reach the generator ahead which will require fuel.

Go to the right side of the generator and cross the room to reach another dark area and you will find a fuel can on the right side. Take the fuel can and go back to the generator and put the fuel in. After that, you need to press the buttons on consoles. The console is on each side of the generator and you need to press the buttons in a order until the buttons turn green. Now, you just have to interact with the generator and pull the crank at the right time to start the generator.

You will have to do the same process for the next generator as well. Make sure to look out for the police guard in the basement. You just have to crouch down to avoid him once he gets close.

Get Back to the Snitch

After starting the generators, you need to get back to the snitch by lifting the parking door. Once you reach the snitch, push his chair until you reach a locked door.

Find the Key

You will be required to use the key to open the door ahead. Look to the left side and you will see a yellow door. Go inside the room and there will be a corpse in front. Interact and hold the Left Mouse Button to search the corpse and you will find the key. Now, go back with the key and interact with the console to open the door. Now, keep pushing the snitch ahead.

Find The Other Keys

While pushing the snitch chair ahead, you will have to find three keys in total to open the doors ahead. Each door has a tv screen that will highlight a clue. You need to find the clue by finding the right corpse in the area. Search the corpse to find the key for the door and then push the chair ahead. However, you will have to be careful of the enemies patrolling the area. You will have to push the chair when you are not followed. If you are being followed, simply hide and let them go far from you.

Electrocute the Snitch

Once you reach at the end of the rail, you will place the snitch inside a chamber. Now, you need to electrocute the snitch by powering up the supply using the switches around the chamber. There are four switches that you need to interact with and hold to power up the supply. However, the policeman will return to the room and you will have to outplay him during this process to activate all four of the switches.

Once you have electrocuted the Snitch, you need to get back to the very start of the trial to finish the trial.
