V Rising: How to Salvage Items

In V Rising, you get a lot of items in the game such as weapons, gears, etc. After some time, you move on from these items to more upgraded items to increase the gear level which is very important to progress in the game but what of these past items that you used, what to do with them? You can salvage these items to get resources off of them. In this guide, we tell you how you can salvage items that are useless to you.

How to Salvage Items

The salvaging mechanic is a very good thing in V Rising as you keep needing resources for different items in the game. But players can find it difficult to know how exactly to salvage items in this game. You can salvage items through a specific production machine. In this game, there are a lot of machines for different items, and for salvaging there is a different machine that you need to unlock and craft so you can use it. That machine’s name is The Devourer.

This structure can be unlocked by defeating Lidia the Chaos Archer. She is a level 26 boss and she also gives you a Chaos Valley power by extracting her V Blood. She is a tough boss for which you need to upgrade your gear and weapons so you can inflict damage on her. You can use your long-range attacks on her as well to cause damage.

After you’ve defeated her, you’ll unlock the devourer structure and then you just have to craft it. It would need 12 Plank and 6 Copper Ingot. You can get planks by putting wood into the sawmill and you can get by copper by going to the Bandit Copper Mine location in Farbane Woods.

After crafting it, just place it in your castle and now you can salvage your salvageable items. You cannot salvage all items in the game. Every item has a tag on it and if there is a tag of salvageable on an item then it can be salvaged and the devourer machine will give you resources of the particular item.
