Way of the Hunter: All Gears

In Way of the Hunter, there are different gear sets that you bring along on your hunt. These gears will help you spot the wild animals you want to hunt, their distance from your position, or call a specific wild animal out of its hiding spot.

All Gears

There are four categories of gear from which you can take 1 gear each category on your hunt. The categories of the gear are Binoculars, Sights, Collimators, and Callers.

All Gears in Binoculars Category

Overgaard 8X Binoculars

The Overgaard 8x Binoculars have a Magnification of 8x with a lens size of 42mm. Its Lens Quality is low but with the magnification of 8x, it works fine to locate the animal and its distance.

Bushnell PRIMETM 10X42

The Bushnell PRIME 10X42 Binoculars have a Magnification of 10x with a lens of 42mm. Its Lens Quality is high and it works like a champ in long distances as well.

Leupold VX-Freedom 2-7X33

This sight has a total magnification of 7x with a 33mm lens. Its lens quality is low but it gets the job done.

Leupold VX-6HD 3-18X44

This sight has a total magnification of 18x with a 44mm lens. Its lens quality is high and it is great for long-range hunting.

Leupold VX-Freedom 1.5-4X20

This sight has a total magnification of 4x with a 20m lens. Its lens quality is low but it is for short-range hunting.

Overgaard Long Range 3-15X50

This sight has a total magnification of 15x with a 50mm lens. Its lens quality is high and it is perfect for long-range hunting.

Leupold VX-3HD 4.5-14X40

This sight has a total magnification of 14x with a 40mm lens. Its lens quality is medium and it works great on all most all ranges.

Red dot ZOOMXD

This sight has a magnification of 1x. Its lens quality is low but it is only for close-range hunting.

Carbine Optic

This sight has a magnification of 1x. Its lens quality is low but it offers greater light than the red dot.

All Gears in Callers Category

Elk Caller

Elk Caller is used to calling the Elks out in the open. The Bugle attracts low-fitness males and the Bugle with Chuckle attracts high-fitness males.

Roe Deer Caller

Roe Deer is used to calling Roe Deer out in the open. Calf Squeal attracts random Roe Deer, Doe in Estrus Squeal attracts low fitness males, and Buck Mating Squeal attracts high fitness males.

Deer Grunt Caller

Deer Grunt Caller is used to call Mule Deer, Fallow Deer, and White-Tailed Deer out in the open. Doe Grunt attracts females, Young Buck Grunt attracts low fitness males, and Trophy Buck Grunt attracts high fitness males.

Red Deer Caller

Red Deer Caller is used to calling Red Deer out in the open. Bolving attracts low-fitness males and Bolving with Chuckles attracts high-fitness males.

Hog Caller

Hog Caller is used to calling Wild Boar out in the open. Grunt attracts any animal from the group, Grunt and Squeal attract low fitness males, and Strong Squeal attracts high fitness males.

Duck Caller

Duck Caller is used to calling Lesser Scaup and Wild Duck out in the open. Quack attracts ducks.

Goose Caller

Goose Caller is used to calling Ross’s Goose and Greylag Goose out in the open. Honk attracts geese.

Jackrabbit Predator Caller

Jackrabbit predator Caller is used to call American Black Bear, American Badger, European Hare, Gray Wolf, and Red Fox out in the open. Squeak attracts hares and Distress Squeal attracts predators.

Moose Caller

Moose Caller is used to calling Moose out in the open. Calf Moan attracts females, Young Moose medium pitch attracts low fitness males, and Trophy Moose low pitch attracts high fitness males.
