We Were Here Forever: Restoring The Light Puzzle

Restoring the light is in the Rockbury Ruins and to get there, you need to go to the left from the signboard after the chapel. You need to go to this area to get the component of the machine. Both of the players need to get on the cable chair and you will get to the puzzle location.

In this guide, we tell you how to solve Restoring the Light Puzzle.

How to Solve Restoring the Light Puzzle

After the cable chair ride, you have to follow the wooden bridge path and you’ll reach an area where is a steel gate with lots of items inside. But don’t worry bout those items as they are not required for this puzzle. There’ll be a staircase a little bit ahead on the left side. Go on the staircase and go through the path and you’ll reach a lift. This lift requires both of the players to use the crank to go up. Both players will get separated as they get off the lift.

How to Solve Restoring the Light Puzzle

One player will go from the bridge and get stuck ahead, for the other player has to go up on a wooden path and use the lever that’ll lower the bridge for the other player so, he can continue. Then the person who lowers the path has to come down and follow the other path that would lead to the chair. The chair will take you to the other side of your partner.

How to Solve Restoring the Light Puzzle

As the player reaches the other side, he will find another lever that lowers the bridge and both of the players will get together again. Follow the wooden path and both of the players will find a boat. There’ll be a crank to lift up the boat. One player has to get inside the boat and the other uses the crank to lift up the boat.

How to Solve Restoring the Light Puzzle

The person who goes up will find a lever that controls the wooden platform. Get a wooden platform close to the other player so, he gets on the platform and then takes him to the other side.

How to Solve Restoring the Light Puzzle

When the other person reaches the other side, he would find a strange bridge and a button that rotates the bridge. The other person reaches the other side of that bridge and then the person has to press the button two times so, that the other player can cross the bridge and get under the platform of the other player. Then that person should press the button two more times so, that the other person reaches an upper right platform.

Then the person on the button needs to go towards the lift shaft and use the lever to bring up the lift and then open the door. He will get to a lower level and there’ll be a button there that opens the door on the player’s side. This button will also make the bridge rotate so the other person can join also. So, now that person needs to press the buttons and make for the other player to join him.

At first, the player needs to press the button two times so the other person can go to the right side, then three times so that they return to where they started and in last two times so he can return to the lift area. Then person needs to get into the lift and the other person will use the crank and get the lift up.

How to Solve Restoring the Light Puzzle

Now both of the players will get together again and they need to go forward then one person should cross the bridge and go to the other side and one will stay on the current side. There’ll be a rock on each player’s side and they have to jump together on it and then the light will become stable.
