During Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global, trainers from different regions had problems joining the raids. These include trainers from Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. As compensation for the technical issue, Pokémon GO announces a special raid event that will take place on July 26, 2026, for trainers in Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. This new event will feature dozens of Pokémon that trainers missed during the Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global. Here is everything you need to know about the special raid event coming in Pokémon GO.

When Does the Special Raid Event Begin in Pokémon GO

The Special Raid Event in Pokémon GO is only for trainers in the regions of Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. This special event takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 10 AM to 7 PM local time.

All Event Bonuses

The event bonuses for the special raid event are as follows.

• Nine free Raid Passes per day by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.
• Special Background for Pokémon caught from five-star raids and Mega Raids during this event.
• Special Background for Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids. Visual Effect on Mega Evolution’s background of Mewtwo.
• Premier Balls will be more effective at catching Pokémon after raids.
• Trainers with the Road of Legends Deluxe Pass get an additional 5,000 XP, 3 Candy, and 1 Candy XL from completing 5-star and higher raids.
• No limit on Remote Raids for all Trainers from Saturday, July 25, at 1:00 p.m. PDT to Sunday, July 26, at 12:00 p.m. PDT.
• Link Charge cap will increase to 2,000.
