When it comes to weapon preference in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, you can choose among 7 different types, with each one having a unique playstyle. However, the game does not bind you to a select weapon choice, and switch between weapons as you please. In addition to the regular variants of the weapon types, each one has a legendary variant. If you are someone who prefers the Sword and Shield weapon type, then Alucard’s Sword and Shield is something that you want to get. Alucard’s Sword and Shield Location in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

Alucard’s Sword is located in Alucard’s Tower above the Grand Hall in the Main Hall region. You can reach the Grand Hall through the Dungeon area of the Main Hall. As you arrive at the Grand Hall, strike the mechanism above the door to open the path to the platform above.

From here, go to the right and get on the platform above. While staying in front of the picture on the right, double jump up and grapple to reach a secret room above. Strike the lever on the left to open the door on the right. Continue right to enter the “Bridge of Knowledge” room. Keep going right to enter Alucard’s Tower.

Once there, grapple up on the platforms to spot Alucard’s Sword and Shield on the wall. However, before you can grab it, there is a puzzle to solve.

How to Get Alucard’s Sword and Shield in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

To get Alucard’s Sword and Shield, you must break the blue flame braziers around Alucard’s Tower. There are five blue flame braziers to destroy before you can pick up the sword and shield.

• 2 braziers are in the main room of Alucard’s Tower.
• Drop down through the center of Alucard’s Tower to break another brazier. There is one more on the lower floor, but you have to reach it through a different route.
• For now, leave Alucard’s Tower from the door you came in. Head left, and break the brazier above the statue in the hallway.
• Keep going left and drop down from the platform, and use the grapple on the glowing hooks in the air to go right. Eventually, you will land between two walls. Jump up these walls to enter the lower floor, which you could not reach earlier. Break the final brazier.

After taking care of all the blue flame braziers, head back to Alucard’s Tower. Go up to the room and interact with the sword and shield to acquire the legendary weapon.
