New Potential Characters Coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley in 2026

The new roadmap (2027) of Disney Dreamlight Valley includes a plan for three free content updates. These updates will follow the same release pattern as the current year’s roadmap. The first update will come out in Early 2027, the next one in Spring 2027, and the third one in Summer 2027. With the reveal of the posters for these updates, we might have some strong guesses for the upcoming characters with each update. Here are our speculations for the upcoming characters in the first half of 2027 in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

• Prince Charming and Prince Naveen (Early 2027 update)
• Yzma and Kronk (Spring 2027)
• Dug as a companion, Carl Fredricksen or Russell as a potential character(Summer 2027)

In the early 2027 poster, we have clues of Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage and a tiny green frog that hint at Prince Charming and Prince Naveen. If you take a look at the Spring 2027 update poster, you can see Yzma’s lair and Kronk’s spinach puffs that hint at the arrival of Yzma and Kronk.

Lastly, if we take a look at the Spring 2027 update poster, we can see the iconic house from UP. As we have got Pluto and Zero ascompanions in the final updates of every roadmap this year, it is certain that we are getting Dug as a companion. However, it is uncertain whether Carl Fredricksen or Russell will join the Valley.
