Amnesia: The Bunker: How to Get the Arsenal Door Code

The Arsenal Door is locked with a code that every player will have to get in order to get the Dynamite so they can blow up the blocked path at the Exit of the Bunker to escape the Bunker. However, this main objective will derive you to explore the Bunker to find all the relative items and tools to get its code. But if you think of getting a code right from the beginning then it is not possible because the code is randomized for each player and each playthrough so, you will have to the required objective of getting the code for your playthrough.

How to Get the Arsenal Door Code in Amnesia: The Bunker

The Arsenal Code is located straight down the hallway from the Administration room but in order to access it, you will have to find the code which can only be found in Communications. The Communications is located in the Soldier Quarters which is right next to the Prison Area where you found the Cutters. Before you enter the Soldier Quarters, make sure that the Generator running in the Administration Room is full of fuel because you going to need it at this point. Fill the engine up with fuel and if you run out of fuel then you can get more from the Fuel Storage in the Maintenance Area.

Once your fuel problem is sorted out, head inside the Soldier Quarter and start activating the switches on the wall and you will reach the Communications Door ahead. Surely, it will be locked and you will be required Communications Key to unlock it. Go to the right side of the communication door and you will reach the security room. It will be locked as well so, you will have to use a brick or a grenade to break it open. Make sure to hide after breaking the door to evade the monster. Once the monster is gone, read the note inside the Key Box and it will hint at the location of the key hidden by a soldier.

You need to go to the Barracks and find the exact same name of the soldier on the bed to find the key. There will be two Barracks in the area and you have to search both of them for the key. You will have to be careful of the Rats in the Barracks so keep your distance from them and simply read the name on the beds to find your guy. Once you have found the name of the soldier, look at his bed to find the Communications Key. Now, head back to the Communications Door to unlock it.

You will find the radio inside the Communications but in order for it to work, you will have to turn on the rest of the breakers in the area. Now, go out of the communications and enter the Barracks on the right side and there will be a path leading to the other side of the area. Go along the path and use a flare or Lighter on the Rats to push them back from the path and turn on the breaker. Once all the breakers are on, the radio will start transmitting the Arsenal Code.

You need to go all the way back to the Communications and listen to the transmission to get the code. After listening to the code, it will be entered in your Codes section and you can confirm it again from there while entering the code on Arsenal Door.
