How to Upgrade Tools in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Tools can be upgraded by visiting Ibn Musa, the creator of these exclusive gadgets. You will get to use the initial starting tools from the early missions of the game but once you have assassinated Al-Ghul, you will get to unlock more tools and even upgrade your tools by talking to Ibn Musa. There are 6 tools in total of which 5 of them are upgradeable excluding Torch. Each upgradeable tool has three different tiers in which the tools are upgraded. To fully upgrade a tool to tier 3, you must first get the tier 1 upgrade, then the tier 2 upgrade, and then finally the tier 3 upgrade to fully enhance the potential of the tool.

As you upgrade a tier of an upgradeable tool, you will see three different modifications from which you can only select any 1. Every modification adds a certain effect or enhances a certain stat of the tool and you can select up to three modifications from each tier. Selecting the modifications of your choice allows you to make a perfect tool for your play style.

However, each tier upgrade of the tool costs a certain amount of materials, similar to upgrading weapons and outfits. The materials required for the tools are the same as for weapons and outfits which include Components, Steel Ingots, and Leather. Tier 1 of every upgradeable tool costs less materials and tier 3 costs the most materials so, make sure that you have enough materials for upgrading the tools.
