How to Salvage Malignant Hearts in Diablo IV

Malignant Hearts can be salvaged at Cormond’s Workbench which is a new type of workbench in Diablo IV. Cormond’s Workbench will not be available from the beginning of the season as it is tied to the progression in the Seasonal Quests. Players will have to complete the A Plague of Hatred quest to unlock Cormond’s Workbench in each of the major towns in all regions. Once players have completed the required quest, they will be able to Salvage the unwanted Malignant Hearts at Cormond’s Workbench. To Salvage Malignant Hearts, players can follow the following steps:

• Find and interact with Cormond’s Workbench.
• Press the R2/RT Button to switch the tab to Salvage.
• Press the R1/RB Button to switch to Character’s Inventory.
• However,over the unwanted Malignant Hearts and press X/A Button to Salvage them for Malignant Ichor resources.

Salvaging each Malignant Heart of any type will give 5 – 15 Malignant Ichor of the respective type.
