Digimon Survive: Here’s How To Befriend Gotsumon

In Digimon Survive, players will get the chance to take Free Battles while going through the story of the game. The Free Battles will allow you to befriend a Digimon or defeat him. If you befriend a Digimon then it will be added to your unit and then you can use it in the other battles.

How to Befriend Gotsumon

In order to befriend any Digimon, you always want to talk to that Digimon and try to answer its questions. Because defeating it in the battle won’t make it your friend. In order to befriend Gotsumon, you also have to talk to it and befriend it.

Gotsumon can be found in the School Area. It will be available after Aoi goes disappeared. You’ll unlock a new Free Battle area in which you can face Gotsumon. Open the World Map and go to School Area, choose the Free Battle to start the Battle. Select your unit and start the battle. You’ll get several choices to do in the battle but you want to select the “Talk” option and go to the Foe tab and select Gotsumon. The camera will switch to Gotsumon and it will start asking questions. It will ask three questions and you’d have to answer the right option from the given four options. When you give the right answer, two bars will fill above the head of Gotsumon. When all 6 bars are filled, Gotsumon will become your friend and then you can use it in your unit in the next battle.

• Makes me wanna yawn.

After getting all of the answers right, Gotsumon will be impressed with you and will ask you what you want. You can ask for items as well from him but if you want to befriend him then select the “Be my Friend” option and it will be added to your unit.
