How to Get the Axe in Everdream Valley

The Axe is one of the earliest tools that you can get in Everdream Valley pretty early in the game. Like most of the tools in the game that are obtained from progressing in the main questline, the Axe is also obtained from one of the main quests in the game. In fact, the Axe is obtained from the very first main quest of the game that players will have to complete in order to fix Chicken Coop.

After going through the starting dialogues of the game, you need to find your grandfather in the valley. You need to use the Yellow Marker on the Radar to find the Grandfather. Follow the marker to find your grandfather and then talk to him. He will give you the quest of fixing the Chicken Coop and while he tells you about the Chicken Coop, he will give you a Hammer and an Axe. As both of these tools will be required to fix the Chicken Coop so, the game will give you right away from the beginning.

Once you have talked to your Grandfather, you will be able to use the Axe to chop down the Trees or Fences to gather wood.
