Everdream Valley – How to Get Wool

Getting various materials in Everdream Valley is important as they are used in crafting to make different structures, items, and much more. Some of the materials are easy to get as they can be obtained from around the farm whereas, some other materials require extra activities to get them. One of the materials that players will require to do an extra activity is Wool.

How to Get Wool in Everdream Valley

Wool is a key material that is used to craft clothing items along with other various items in Everdream Valley. However, getting Wool requires an activity named “Shaving Sheep” and in order to do this activity, players will be required to get Sheep on the farm. Players would have to make a pen for sheep and then do herding with the dog to bring sheep to their pen. It will be all done in one of the main quests of the game but players will have to make progress in the game to get there.

As players become successful in bringing sheep to the farm, players will get a new tool named “Shears”. Shears are required to do shaving of the sheep that have a lot of wool on them. The sheep that are eligible to be shaved will have an icon of shears on them and players will only be able to shave them. Equip the Shears from the inventory and then go near the sheep to start shaving it.

A mini-game will start in which players will have to move around the camera and press the F Button to cut wool from the sheep. The progress bar will be shown on top of the screen and it will gradually increase as players cut the wool off from the sheep.

Shaving 1 whole sheep will give 1x Wool and it will take a while before wool grows back on the sheep.
