God of War Ragnarok: How to Solve Water Wheel Flow Puzzle – (The Quest for Tyr)

God of War Ragnarok is an action-adventure game filled with a lot of enemies and puzzles. As Atreus is eager to find out his true identity, Kratos and Atreus will go on a journey and they start off with the Quest for Tyr. Kratos and Atreus will begin their journey in the Aurvangar Wetlands area. There are several Water Puzzles in this area and as you progress further in the area, you get to solve these puzzles. One of the puzzles you have to solve is Water Wheel Flow puzzle in the Applecore.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to solve the Water Wheel Flow Puzzle in God of War Ragnarok.

Solving Water Flow Puzzle

After reaching inside the Mines to look for Tyr, you’ll have to go through three big doors and the first two doors are pretty simple, you just have to freeze the water to lift up the block to use the grapple to get across. After getting through the first two doors and going up from the elevator, you’ll reach the last gate for which you have to do a little bit more work.

There’ll be two water wheels and you need to block both of them but since you have only 1 Leviathan Axe, you’ll have to find a way to block one of the wheels with something else. We have a simpler way to complete this puzzle and if you follow the following steps, you’ll be able to solve it in no time.

• Once you’ve come down from the zip line, first, you need to turn to the left side and you’ll need to jump across.
• Send Atreus up on the ledge so he can go to the rear of the room to find a way. He’ll see a crank on the other side that he can use on your order.
• Now, jump back on the main platform and you need to throw the Leviathan Axe on the wheel on the left side to freeze the water.
• The wheel will start turning and now you need to look at Atreus and order him to use the crank.
• Using the crank will release three stones that will block the wheel.
• Now call back the Leviathan Axe and turn face to the other wheel.
• Throw the Leviathan Axe on the middle board to freeze it and the wheel will start turning.
• The hook will come up and you can use the grapple to go to the platform in front.
• Now look at the stones that Atreus released and order Atreus to use the Sonic Arrows on them to explode them.
• The water will start flowing again and the platform that you are on will go towards the main door.

Atreus will meet you at the door and you’ll get through the final door of Applecore.
