God of War Ragnarok: Where to find Nornir Chest in Niflheim

God of War Ragnarok also has Nornir Chests that were also in the prequel of this game. If you don’t remember then Nornir Chests are those from which you’ll find Apple of Idunn or a Horn of the Blood Mead. Both of these items increase Health or Rage after collecting the required amount of these items. Players will also find Nornir Chests throughout the gameplay of God of War Ragnarok and not all of these Chests are to be found most of them are well hidden and you need to explore in order to find them.

In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find the hidden Nornir Chest in Niflheim In God of War Ragnarok.

Finding Nornir Chest in Niflheim

Niflheim is a Misty Realm that you can travel by going through the Mystic Gate. You’ll get to Niflheim after completing the Realms at War quest. You’ll go through Raven Tree and if you go to the path on the left side of the Raven Tree, you’ll come upon an Aesir Prison Wreckage. It’s an old Asgardian Prison. To find the Nornir Chest, you need to go down into the prison and you’ll automatically start a Favour named The Broken Prison. If you want to look through the Favour, you can read our guide.

After going into the prison, you’ll get to face many Elf enemies and Dark Elf Enemies. Defeat the enemies and you need to go down one lower level and you’ll see the Nornir Chest behind bars. Go down one more level clear the enemies and you need to enter two cells that are in front of each other. From one cell, you’ll find a magical rune that you need to destroy in order to open the chest. Now open the cell in front of that and you’ll have to face another Elf Enemy.

Where you fought the Elf Enemy in the cell, look up and you’ll see the sign and you can use the blades to break through the wall and reach a higher level. Go up and you’ll find one more magical rune. Destroy it and the Nornir Chest will be in front of it.

The last magical rune is on the bottom, in the central pit. Break the last magical rune and then go up to the Nornir Chest to grab all the resources from it. You’ll get the following items from the Nornir Chest in Niflheim.

• 10x Petrified Bone
• 6x Luminous Alloy
• 25x Asgardian Ingot
• 40x Shattered Rune
• 100,000x Hacksilver
