Gwent Rogue Mage: Map Guide
Gwent Rogue mage is a deck-building game in which you fight your enemies by playing cards and defeat them by getting more points on your side of the deck. Once you are out of the Prologue of the game, you’ll be able to select the map or continue the game in the menu along with checking your deck cards.
In this guide, we’ll tell you what you can do and find on the maps of Gwent Rogue Mage.
Map
While you are in Ulsa’s Lab, you’ll be able to select the run. If you click on the map, the run for that map will start and you defeat the common monsters of that map and Bosses or Elite Enemies of that map. You can also continue the run by clicking on the corridor. This run will take you to the map that you have already started. There are different elements on the map that you’ll see Standard Fights, Boss Fights, Places of Power, Events, and Treasures.
Standard Fights
The Standard Fights are the common monster fights that are easy to defeat. By defeating each monster in a battle, you’ll get an additional card of random rarity. The card will be added to your deck and you can use that card in future fights whenever necessary.
Boss Fights
The Boss Fights are comparatively hard to the Standard Fights. These fights take a lot of energy points out of your character due to spell casting in the fight. Not only you can defeat the enemies with the power of your cards but you have to strategize your energy points as well. The energy points are used to cast spells on your cards for additional power and to gain more points in the fight. So, it is very important to have enough energy for your character to stand strong in the fight. By defeating the bosses, you’ll get a rare card or character upgrade.
Places of Power
Places of Power is a place with a certain symbol on it. The main purpose of this place is to get more energy and get a boost for your cards. Each Place of Power has a different symbol of different colors so, the symbol will provide different boosts and energy to your character. If you want to go for the perfect run, you need to understand what color gives what benefits. There are four different symbols of different colors.

- The Red Place of Power will allow you to remove a card from your deck or gain 20 Energy. You can choose 1 option when you are visiting the Red Place of Power.
- The Yellow Place of Power will allow you to transform a card or gain 20 Energy. You can choose 1 option when you are visiting the Yellow Place of Power.
- The Green Place of Power will allow you to upgrade a unit by 3 or gain 20 Energy. You can choose 1 option when you are visiting the Green Place of Power.
- The Blue Place of Power will allow you to duplicate a card in your deck or gain 20 Energy. You can choose 1 option when you are visiting the Blue Place of Power.
Events
Events are another way to gain the resources for your journey and fights. There are two types of events. Most of them are Positive, meaning you’ll get more resources than you had before. But in some events, you’ll also lose some resources or energy by entering the events.
