Halo Infinite: SRS and SRB – that’s why you should know the terms
The basics of a first-person shooter like Halo Infinite are easy to learn, but there are still some subtleties hidden behind them that can bring an advantage. This also includes SRS and SRB.
Moving forward smoothly: SRS and SRB are useful motion sequences.
Halo Infinite: What Do SRS and SRB Mean? All information
SRS and SRB describe certain combinations of movements that can be beneficial because of the gameplay mechanics in Halo Infinite :
- SRS means the direct sequence of sprinting, sliding, and jumping. This is useful for a variety of purposes, such as reaching an elevated point from a dynamic movement.
- SRB stands for sprinting, sliding, and boxing. The melee attacks in Halo Infinite are relatively powerful and with SRB you can quickly cover the final distance to the enemy.
Both combinations require practice in order to perfect the processes and to be able to correctly assess the distances. When you slide, you only cover a short distance and then come to a standstill – timing is therefore absolutely crucial for SRS and SRB.
