How to participate in cockfights in Far Cry 6

One of the minigames that we can find scattered around the Yara map are cockfights. This is how you participate in this competition in Far Cry 6.

Cockfighting is one of the most original minigames that Far Cry 6 offers us . How do you play and what is necessary to participate in these competitions?

The first thing we should know is that there are 19 roosters scattered throughout the map. Some of them can be obtained by completing missions, but most are hidden in boxes, in the different towns and camps of the game.

Each of the roosters has a unique appearance and characteristics, 13 are included within the fiercest fighters of Yara and 6 additional as the avian mercenaries of Yara . Once we have obtained a rooster, we must go to a position that has this minigame.

There are several, but one of those that is unlocked before is the Finca Montero, on the Mogote slopes in Costa del Mar. We can go there using the fast travel.

When we arrive, we have to talk to Iván Minoso, who is in the fighting arena (it is marked with the rooster icon in black).

The first thing to do is select the difficulty (there are three available, starting with civilian) on which the reward obtained depends. Once in the flour, the game unfolds as if it were a fighting title.

We have three available attacks, dodge and a fury bar that fills up as our rooster receives blows, and that allows us to execute a special attack. The combination of frontal attack and jump attack – with a good rooster – will be very useful.

The reward for winning is juicy Yara pesos, which we can invest in more weapons and pieces of equipment for Far Cry 6 . As we can imagine, the higher the stake, the more difficult the matches will have.
