Jagged Alliance 3 – How to Heal Mercs

Gunfights can be very painful for Mercs in Jagged Alliance 3 as they can get wounded or injured after getting shot. Players do not want to lose their hired mercenary during the mission as it can be a great loss and can lead to the failure of the mission that is why the wounded or hurt mercenaries should be considered earliest. To get the mercenaries back in action, players will have to heal them during combat as well as treat their wounds before sending them off to another mission.
In this guide, we’ll be telling you how to Heal Mercs in Jagged Alliance 3.
How to Heal Mercs during Combat
When a mercenary gets injured during combat, players must get them healed before the next turn of the enemies starts. Once the players have their turn, they need to select the Medic and move it over to the injured mercenary and give the instruction to heal the mercenary. Healing the mercenary will use the First Aid Kit which will deplete over time but it will let the injured mercenary get back into action. If a Medic gets hurt during combat, they can heal themselves without moving anywhere. Simply press the N Button (by default) while selecting the Medic to heal themselves.
Players will also find meds during the missions and the first aid kit can be replenished by using the meds so, make sure to grab as many meds as you can either by looting the dead bodies of enemies or looting the stashes.
How to Treat Wounds of Mercs
To fully heal the mercenaries, players must treat their wounds before starting another mission. It is important to look after their wounds to restore their Agility and Dexterity to their potential. To do so, players can follow the following steps.
- Press the M to open the Strategic Map Screen.
- Open the Operations tab. It is located beside the progression bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the Treat Wounds Operation.
- Select the Medic as a Doctor and the wounded Mercenary as a Patient.
- Start the Treating Wounds process and after the required time, the mercenary will fully recover from the wounds.

Treating Wounds will cost meds so, players must have enough meds in the inventory to perform the Treat Wounds operation.
