Like A Dragon Gaiden - Heal

Combat in Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name can be atrocious as enemies always encounter you in groups so, it is never easy, especially if you are dealing with heavy and brute enemies. Getting hit by enemies’ combos can drastically reduce your health which would immediately require a cure otherwise, you can face death.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to heal in Like A Dragon Gaiden.

How to Heal in Like A Dragon Gaiden

The healing mechanic in Like A Dragon Gaiden is quite trouble-free as the game gives you the freedom to munch on any food item during combat to regain a portion of your health bar. There are a ton of food items that can be bought from food stalls and general stores in the city and it is always useful to stack up these food items in your inventory as you never know when you will need to use them.

To heal during combat in Like A Dragon Gaiden, you need to open the menu and select the inventory. From there, select any item to eat and regenerate a portion of your health. Food items with low prices will have a low healing effect whereas expensive food items will regenerate a large portion of your health. It is always useful to buy expensive food from food stalls or general stores so, that you can heal quickly. Apart from combat, it is recommended to heal your character by dining in a restaurant. Instead of using the food item at your disposal, go into a restaurant and dine in to eat expensive food to heal and save your precious food items for later encounters.

Keep in mind that the healing in combat mechanics is not for Coliseum fights. You will not have access to your inventory during Coliseum fights so, you will have to be more strategic in defeating your opponents at tournament fights. You will get to heal your character after you have completed the Coliseum fight.
