Manor Lords: How to Upgrade Burgage Plots

Developing your initial town into a flourishing town will require a lot of work in Manor Lords and one of the core factors that you should focus on as early as possible is upgrading the Burgage Plots. The Burgage Plots are the residential buildings that you build for your people to stay in and give them home.

Similar to the real world, living in a better home with more resources and comfort always keeps people happy and it is the same in Manor Lords. This guide will help you with how to upgrade Burgage Plots in Manor Lords.

How to Upgrade Burgage Plots in Manor Lords

The Burgage Plot has three different levels in total starting with a Level 1. Initially, every Burgage Plot you place down for the people to construct their homes and move in will be Level 1. After that, you can upgrade each Burgage Plot two times to raise them to Level 3. To upgrade the Burgage Plot, you will have to fulfill the Amenities and the Market Supply for the people.

Every level of a Burgage Plot has its own set of Amenities and Market Supply demands and you can view them under the Residential Tab by selecting a Burgage Plot. Each demand you fulfill, it will mark the respective demand and upon fulfilling all the demands, you will be able to upgrade to the next level by selecting the “+” icon beside the extensions option.

Now, let’s take a look at what each Level of Burgage Plot upgrade requires.

Burgage Plot Level 2 Upgrade Requirements

To upgrade the Level 1 Burgage Plot to a Level 2 Burgage Plot, you need to fulfill the following requirements.

Amenities:

  • Well
  • Wooden Church

Market Supply:

  • Fuel stall supply
  • 2 different food types
  • Linen, Leather, or Yarn for clothing materials.

Build a well over the underground water area and build a church in the town. It does not require you to level up the church so having a Level 1 Church is enough to fulfill this amenity. For the Market Supply, make sure that your storehouses are stored with Fuel (Firewood or Charcoal), any two types of food (Meat, Berries, Eggs, etc.), and Linen, Leather, or Yarn.

You need only one type of clothing material to fulfill the clothing demand. You can easily get Yarn by getting the Sheep and letting the Weaver Workshop turn wool into yarn. Make sure that you have assigned workers both to the Storehouses and the Marketplace so that the required goods are being distributed around the town for the families.

After fulfilling all the demands, select the plus icon to upgrade the Burgage Plot to Level 2 at a cost of 4x Timber. Reaching Level 2 Burgage Plot will also generate 1 Regional Wealth per family every month.

Burgage Plot Level 3 Upgrade Requirements

To upgrade the Level 2 Burgage Plot to a Level 3 Burgage Plot, you need to fulfill the following requirements.

Amenities:

  • Well
  • Tavern
  • Small Stone Church

Market Supply:

  • Fuel stall supply
  • 3 different food types
  • Linen, Leather, or Yarn for clothing materials.
  • Shoes, Clothes, or Cloaks for clothing.

To fulfill the demands for the next level, you must build a Tavern with a supply of Ale so make sure that you are producing Ale to have a running Tavern. For the Church, you need to upgrade it to the next level to build a Small Stone Church.

Similar to the Level 2 Burgage Plot requirements, keep the fuel supply the same, add another food item variety to the marketplace, and keep any one clothing material in the market. However, you also need to bring any one clothing item to the market. It can be shoes, clothes, or cloaks.

After fulfilling all the demands, select the plus icon to upgrade the Burgage Plot to Level 3 at a cost of 4x Timber, 8x Planks, and 4x Rooftiles. Reaching Level 3 Burgage Plot will allow you to add more families to the Burgage Plot without the need to create more and also generate 2 Regional Wealth per family every month.
