Where to Use the Frog Coins in Super Mario RPG

Getting the Frog Coins is easy in Super Mario RPG but figuring out where to spend it is a mystery itself as the normal shop owners don’t accept this currency. There are two locations where players can use the Frog Items to get useful items from the NPCs and they are the following.

Tadpole Pond

You can find the Frog Coin Shop in the Tadpole Pond area by heading to the left side of the entrance. As you go to the pond, two tadpoles will come out, one of them runs a Frog Coin shop and offers the following usable items in battle.

  • Sleepy Bomb – 1 Frog Coin
  • Bracer – 2 Frog Coins
  • Energizer – 2 Frog Coins
  • Party Bracer – 5 Frog Coins
  • Party Energizer – 5 Frog Coins

Seaside Town

The Frog Coins Shop is located on the 2nd floor of the elder’s house in Seaside Town. Make your way up to the 2nd floor to find a frog. Interact with the frog to view the Frog Coin shop.

  • See Ya! – 10 Frog Coins
  • Earlier Times – 15 Frog Coins
  • Exp. Booster – 22 Frog Coins
  • Coin Trick – 36 Frog Coins
  • Flower Rings – 50 Frog Coins
