Thief Simulator 2 - Knockout

Thief Simulator 2 offers a lot of variety in completing your theft endeavors but sometimes it can go wrong by raising detection on tenants or hunted by the cops. However, there is a way to change the situation but you have to turn a bit violent by knocking them out and making a run for a safe escape without being wanted.

Here’s everything you need to know on how to knock out Tenants. Guards, & Cops in Thief Simulator 2.

How to Knock Out Tenants, Guards, & Cops in Thief Simulator 2

Assaulting in Thief Simulator 2 is one of the last options while making an escape with your robbery. If you can’t find anything to work with to make an escape then assaulting a tenant, a guard, or a cop who is in your way will be your way out. However, you cannot begin assaulting the people right from the start of the game as it requires at least a Specialization (Level 1) Skill and a Baton.

You will be able to unlock the Specialization (Level 1) skill once you have reached Level 13. After unlocking the Specialization (Level 1) skill, it will unlock the Baton tool in the Stealgear app on the computer at the Hideout. Once you have leveled up your character and learned the skill, go to the Hideout to buy the Baton from the Stealgear app. It will cost you $2,500 to purchase the Baton.

Purchasing the Baton will store it in your inventory and you will be able to equip it by using the Tool Wheel by holding the Q Button. After fulfilling all the requirements, you will be able to knock out everyone simply by equipping the Baton from the Tool Wheel and hitting them from behind by pressing LMB. Make sure that you are behind the person you are knocking out otherwise the armed tenants, guards, or cops will catch you. Hitting the person will knock them out and you will get about 1 – 2 minutes to make an escape before they wake up and call the police.

Keep in mind that if you knock someone out from behind, you will not be wanted but if you attack an unarmed tenant from the front, you will get wanted and people start recognizing you unless you wear a Ski Mask.
