Thymesia: How to Defeat The Hanged Queen Boss

The next location after you’ve cleared the Sea of Trees is called the Royal Garden. In the Royal Garden region, we will be facing another area Boss called the Hanged Queen. You will have talent points from the last levels as well and you can use them and get yourself Long Claw and Sharp weapons. You can switch up your skills and get yourself dash skills to help you dash and attack in the boss fight. You can also use the Whip Plague weapon as it is one of the most hard-hitting Plague weapons in the game. It has almost 400 Attack damage.

In this guide, we are going to cover how to defeat the Hanged Queen boss in the Royal Garden Area.

The Hanged Queen

The Hanged Queen is like a giant beast with her hands having wing-like patterns on them. You will be fighting her in this big garden-like arena with red crystals around the arena. The first attack of The Hanged Queen is a dash attack her dash attack is very slow but it covers a lot of areas. You will have to be very careful while dodging her dash attack. Her next attack is a jump slam attack which is also very slow and you can easily dodge it by rolling to the sides or behind. Her attacks are very slow and give you a lot of time to move around and to dodge them, this is mainly because of her giant beastly size.

The Hanged Queen has the Health Regeneration ability, she will dash back and will use those red crystals which we told you about in the start and will scream and use them to regenerate her health to a percentage. Next up is her Howling attack in which she will scream and there will be a white pattern in a straight line she can do this from a distance and will still deal you a lot of damage. You have to get out of her scream zone in order to dodge this attack.

How to Defeat

Firstly, you will be attacked by the Hanged Queen’s dash attack, you just have to roll to the sides in order to dodge the attack and she takes a lot of time to get back and you can attack her. Use Whip, if you’ve taken the Plague weapon which deals her a lot of damage as well. In order to dodge her next attack, you just have to run or roll back as she will be using her Jump slam attack next. You can counter-attack her after she slams back to the ground and can deal him a great amount of damage. You just have to watch out and stick close to her as she will use her health regeneration skill if you let her get away when the Hanged Queen is low on her health.

One more thing that’s good for you is that the Hanged Queen only has one Health bar, not two. So, you will only have to defeat her once as she only has a single health bar. Next, you will have to watch out for her scream attack you can just run to her by watching out of her scream zone and attacking her while she’s doing her scream attack to deal her damage. She will be using her Jump slam attack when she is very low on health very frequent so, you will have to watch out to run to the side or roll to dodge it and attack her afterward.
