V Rising: How to Get Stygian Summoning Circle

The Stygian Summoning Circle is one of the new Castle Structures in V Rising added with the v1.0. It is used to spawn various bosses from the shadow world inside your castle that drop essential items that are useful for various crafting recipes and knowledge.

This guide will give you the information on how to get Stygian Summoning Circle and how it works in V Rising.

How to Unlock the Stygian Summoning Circle in V Rising

Unlocking the new structure called the Stygian Summoning Circle will require players to first unlock its recipe. To unlock the recipe, players will have to defeat a new V Blood Boss named General Crassius the Betrayer. He is a Level 57 boss who can be found roaming on the roads of the new region, Ruins of Mortium. It is best to track his blood from the Blood Altar to follow to its exact location.

After defeating General Crassius the Betrayer, you will be able to craft the Stygian Summoning Circle with the following materials.

  • 16x Stone Brick
  • 4x Scourgestone
  • 1x Primal Blood Essence

How to Use the Stygian Summoning Circle in V Rising

Upon crafting and placing down the Stygian Summoning Circle, you will be able to summon six different bosses from the shadow realm. Summoning each boss will require different resources one of which will either be Stygian Shards or Greater Stygian Shards. Simply interact with the Stygian Summoning Circle structure and then add the required materials for the boss you wish to summon.

Once the boss spawns, defeat it to get the certain resources that it drops. The list of all the required materials for each boss along with what type of resources they drop is mentioned below.

  1. Blood Treant – Requires 80x Plant Fibre and 250 Stygian Shards, Drops 6-12 seeds of various types, and a few Saplings.
  2. Blood Elemental – Requires 20x Gem Dust and 250 Stygian Shards, Drops 3 Regular Gems, and a vast amount of minerals.
  3. Blood Harpy – Requires 4x Scroll and 250 Stygian Shards, Drops 3 Study Books along with Paper and Scrolls.
  4. Blood Corpse Pile – Requires 20x Bone and 400 Greater Stygian Shards, Drops Alchemy resources.

  6. Blood Witch – Requires 4x Schematic and 400 Greater Shards, Drops 3 Athenaeum Books along with Scrolls and Schematics.

Having a Stygian Summoning Circle can easily help you get various essential resources for advanced crafting recipes but in return, it will require you to get a large amount of Stygian Shards so make sure that you or your clan members are participating in Rift Incursion events from time to time.
