Warhaven: Dominion Mode

The launch of Warhaven includes 5 different modes in which teams of two containing either 12 or 6 players on each side will face each other on various maps. Each mode has its set of winning rules that players must consider accomplishing to stand out as the winning team. Dominion is one of the modes that has been tested several times in the past and it has finally made its appearance on the official launch of the game. Dominion is a classic Warhaven mode that has been loved and is one of the most played modes in the past tests of the game but there has been a slight addition to the mode that both old and new players should know.

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about the Dominion mode in Warhaven.

Dominion Mode Rules

If you have played Dominion mode before it would probably be in one of the tests for the game which included Dominion and Skirmish modes. The Skirmish mode is no longer available in Warhaven but has been altered and added within the Dominion mode.

The Dominion mode is a 3-Foothold map in which a team has to take control of the most Foothold points to earn points whereas, in the Skirmish, both teams fight for the 1-Foothold, and whoever reaches the score limit first gets the victory.

Now at the launch, Skirmish mode has changed to Dominion mode with the same set of rules. Two teams will fight for 1-Foothold on the respective map. However, the classic Dominion mode still consists of 3-Foothold points. Both 3-Foothold and 1-Foothold Dominion modes are consisted of 12 v 12 players teams of 2.

Dominion Mode Maps

All the modes in Warhaven can only be played on their respective maps and the maps for Dominion mode are the following.

  • Moshabarg
  • Gella
  • Podden
  • Sihan

Dominion is the only mode in Warhaven that has access to 4 different maps out of 5 but 2 of them are 3-Foothold Points and 2 of them are 1-Foothold Point.
