The launch of Warhaven includes 5 different modes in which teams of two containing either 12 or 6 players on each side will face each other on various maps. Each mode has its set of winning rules that players must consider accomplishing to stand out as the winning team. One of the tested modes of Warhaven is Onslaught which has made its way to the launch version of Warhaven.
In this guide, we’ll be telling you all the things that you need to know about the Onslaught mode in Warhaven.
Onslaught Mode Rules
Onslaught is a 12 v 12 players teams of 2 mode in Warhaven which requires players to take control of the enemy’s Foothold sequentially by pushing the frontline. Whichever team captures all the Footholds within the time limit, wins the match. However, if both teams cannot capture the Footholds in time, the match will go to overtime and whichever team has the highest Resistance wins the match. Keep your Resistance high by not losing access to Foothold to the enemy team.
Now, there are several ways to gain map control in Onslaught mode. Players can either do simple battles with their soldiers or they can use the Canon to demolish a group of enemies on Foothold to take control of the Foothold immediately. Keep in mind both of the teams have access to canons so, players must make their plays accordingly.
Both teams will start with 2 pre-claimed Footholds in their territory and teams need to increase their Resistance by capturing the Footholds in the middle and then push on to the enemy’s territory to vanquish their resistance to confirm the victory.
