We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip – Crewmate Carousel Puzzle Guide

The Crewmate Carousel is the Communication test for both players in We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip. It is the first main test of the game, which rewards players according to their performance in the test. The puzzle will be the same for both players, and they will have to communicate with each other in time.

How to Solve Crewmate Carousel Puzzle

The Crewmate Carousel puzzle depends on communication. Both players will enter a similar room, but the player on the left side will have a Ticket Machine in their room, which is for rewarding the players according to their performance. The puzzle will have 3 stages in total with 5 rounds each. If players complete all 3 stages without making a mistake, they will earn the gold ticket. However, the puzzle can be completed even after the 1st stage, but it will earn you a Bronze Ticket, and similarly a Silver Ticket after Stage 2.

The puzzle revolves around selecting the correct symbols for the emotions of the pirates. One player will see a pirate doing an emotion and several symbols on the side curtain. The other player will see pirates doing emotions with different symbols beneath them. The players need to communicate with each other to find a correct symbol for the pirate doing an emotion before the time runs out.

Stage 1

Player B will have a Pirate doing emotion with “?” beneath it and 4 symbols on the side curtain. Player A will have 4 Pirates doing different emotions with different symbols beneath all the pirates. Player B needs to explain the emotion of the pirate to Player A, and Player A needs to find the similar emotion of the pirate at their end and tell the symbol beneath that pirate to Player B. As Player B presses the correct symbol at their end, it will complete 1 round of Stage 1. Successfully passed 5 rounds to complete Stage 1 of Crewmate Carousel.

Stage 2

Stage 2 is the same as Stage 1, but the roles will be switched for the players.

Stage 3

During Stage 3, the roles will switch on each round, but with more symbols.

Completing any Stage successfully will complete the test and reward players with a respective stage ticket, and players will get to move to their next test, Maps & Markers.
