We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip – Siren’s Curse Puzzle Guide

The Siren’s Curse is the final test in the FriendShip, which tests the trust between the players. Once players have completed the Maps & Markers puzzle, they will move on to the Siren’s Curse. Both players will enter the same platform, but as they go ahead, one of the players will have to hold the lever while the other one has to go through the door to start the puzzle.
We will be covering all the steps that players will have to do to complete the Siren’s Curse Puzzle in We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip.
How to Solve the Siren’s Curse Puzzle
To complete the Siren’s Curse puzzle, Player A has to direct Player B to light up all the lighthouses and reach the end of the area. Player B cannot do this alone because they will be seeing things that are not there and can easily fall into the water, which will end the puzzle. After Player B has been hallucinated with a purple gas, they need to wait for Player A until they have a vision of Player B. Once Player A has a full vision of Player B, they need to direct Player B to light up the lighthouses to earn points. The more lighthouses you light up, the more points you will earn, which will give you a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Ticket at the end.
There are 9 lighthouses in total that Player B can light up with the trust on directions given by Player A. The first 2 lighthouses are easy, as Player B only has to go on the wooden platform to light them up. For the 3rd lighthouse, Player A needs to direct Player B to jump on the platforms before the platform closes. The platform will close when the needle hits 0 on the clock, so Player A needs to direct efficiently. Upon reaching the other side, Player B can light up the third lighthouse and if they go in the opposite direction and turn right, they will light up the fourth lighthouse.

For the 5th lighthouse, Player B has to jump through platforms, but this time the platform will change positions as Player B jumps. Player A needs to direct Player B in which direction they should jump to lead them to the other side where they can light up the lighthouse. The 6th lighthouse will require Player B to go up the ramp by dodging the moving wave boards. Player A has to direct Player B to change directions to successfully reach the top of the ramp to light up the lighthouse.
For the 7th lighthouse, Player A has to direct Player B to cross four pendulums, and for the 8th and 9th lighthouses, Player A needs to direct Player B on a curvy track. As Player B steps onto the track and goes a bit ahead, a boat will start following Player B, which can push them off the track. Player A needs to direct Player B to the end of the track to reach the end of the puzzle/test.

After getting through the test, players can interact with the ticket machine to get their reward and complete the final test on The FriendShip.
