Pikmin 4 – How to Unlock Red Pikmin

Pikmin 4 is an Adventure Real-Time Strategy and Puzzle Video game in which players will get to go on an adventure on a mysterious planet. There are mysterious creatures living on the planet and one of the most friendly and helpful creatures that players will get to enjoy the company of is Pikmin. There are different kinds of Pikmin that can be found on different locations of the planet but the earliest Pikmin kind that players can find is the Red Pikmin in Pikmin 4.

How to Unlock Red Pikmin in Pikmin 4

Pikmins are one of the most helpful creatures that will help players throughout the whole game and the very first kind of Pikmins that players will get to find is Red Pikmin. Red Pikmin can be found near the S.S. Shepherd and to fix the S.S. Shepherd, players will be required the assistance of Red Pikmin. To find the Red Pikmin, players need to find the Red Flower in the dirt located directly North of S.S. Shepherd. Upon finding the Red Flower, players need to order Pup to remove the dirt around the flower and then drag it to S.S. Beagle by pressing the A Button.

As the Pup pulls the Flower to Beagle, the flower will activate and throw out the Red Pikmin. Players will have to go near it and press the A Button to Pluck it out. It will be the first Red Pikmin and to get more Red Pikmins, players will have to find the Red Circles with 1 written inside of them. Each Circle will give 2 more Red Pikmins that players can pluck out. These circles can be found on regular white flowers and players can order either 1 Red Pikmin to grab the circle from the flower or order Pup to take down the flower to drop the circle.

The Red Pikmin or the Pup will take the Red Circle to Red Flower which will push out more Red Pikmins. Players can pull them out of the dirt by interacting with them and in order to gather around all of the Red Pikmins to players’ position, they need to press the B Button to Whistle. The more Pikmins the player will get, the more it will be easier for the players to gather items from the surroundings or to take down a creature in a fight.
