Capcom talks about PS5 3D Audio in Resident Evil Village and how it takes advantage of the SSD

In addition, they also talked about more things about the game, such as its resolution.

Resident Evil 8 Village won’t be released until 7 May, when it will be released alongside the PS4 and Xbox One versions, along with a free multiplayer mode called Resident Evil Verse. There are those who can’t wait much longer to play it, but despite that, there are still several months left to make time.

However, little by little we are learning more and more details about the game from its creators, as is the case here. Speaking during an interview with Official PlayStation UK Magazine, Capcom’s Pete Fabiano gave us some details about the PS5 version of the game.

Specifically, Fabiano discussed what it will mean compared to the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the aforementioned consoles. To the surprise of, no longer many, the PS5’s SSD will play a major role in “virtually eliminating load times, to allow players to maintain the immersive feel,” he said.

He also commented on another feature of the console, 3D audio, adding: “The audio will completely wash over you in all directions. Fabiano also reiterated during the interview that Resident Evil 8 Village will be playable at 4K resolution.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
