Coral Island: How to Farm
Coral island is a farming simulation game and your character is mainly a farmer in the new island called Coral Island. At the start of the game, you’ll be given a small tour of your house and your farm by Mayor Connor. Mayor Connor will also give you the farming tools that’ll help you start farming.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to start farming on Coral Island.
Farming
Farming in Coral Island is relatively similar to the other farming games. If you have a basic idea of farming, you’ll find no difficulty in farming. For farming, the basic tools that you need in Coral Island are the following:
- Hoe
- Watering Can
- Scythe
You’ll be given all of the basic tools that you need for farming at the start of the game and your first main quest will also be to start farming. The land in front of your house is pretty big and you’ll have to clear that land with trees, rocks, grass, and trash then you’ll be able to plant and grow seeds by your own.
The first step of the farming is to till the farm soil by using a hoe. You’ll need to click on the farm soil while equipping the hoe which will be your first tool. Equip the hoe and click on the farm soil to dig the hole and then you’ll be able to plant the seed in the hole. Make sure to keep an eye on your Energy Bar because using tools of any kind will consume your energy and you’ve to keep the energy up to keep working. If the energy goes to zero then your character will pass out.

You can get the Seeds from Sam. Sam runs the general store in Coral Island. You can visit his shop to buy seeds that you want. Planting the seeds in the tilled soil will take no energy and you just have to equip the seeds from your inventory that you want to plant and then click on the tilled soil to plant them.
The next step is to water the planted seeds. You can water the seeds with Watering Can that you also get at the start of the game. To water the seeds, equip the watering can and click on the planted seeds to water them. Watering Can doesn’t have infinite mount of water so you’ll have to fill up the water from any water source. You can fill up the watering can from ponds, rivers, waterfalls, etc. The water quantity of watering can is shown under the watering can tool so always check the water before watering the seeds.

Seeds are of many types and some seeds take less time to grow and some seeds take more time to grow. For the seeds to fully grow, you’ll have to water them once daily and once they are fully grown then you’ll be able to harvest them with Scythe. Equip the Scythe tool and then click on the grown seeds to harvest them.
