Crusader Kings III: Occupy Council - these are the roles and tasks

A powerful ruler needs good advisers – history has proven that often enough. In Crusader Kings III, you must follow this premise as well and to that end, you will resort to your advice.

Crusader Kings III: That is your advice and that is what matters

You open the council by clicking the button of the same name on the right of the screen. There are six windows in which five items are to be assigned – the remaining field in the top left is reserved for your spouse. The five areas of responsibility are (corresponding to the five attributes in the game):

  • Archbishop or Temple God (depending on the culture): religion and education
  • Council Chancellor: Diplomacy (inside and outside)
  • Council Administrator: Administration and Economy
  • Council Marshal: Army and War
  • Council spy: secrets and conspiracies (intrigues)

It makes sense to occupy the figure who has as high an attribute as possible for the post (for example, a high value for “intrigues” for the council spy). In addition, however, personal sensitivities must also be taken into account expects his position to get a position on the Council, regardless of his competence.

This is also a good example of the tricky decisions in Crusader Kings III, as you have to think carefully about which path to take – in all cases, different consequences are to be expected.
The role of your spouse, on the other hand, is freely selectable: You can choose at any time in which of the areas your partner should contribute, for example depending on the situation or the talent (attribute values) of the character.

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
